This was the first year that I really focused on home school in that I purchased an actual year-long curriculum and went through it with Abby. Noah (being that he was 2 for most of the year) “tagged along.” He did some of his own learning, too, though nothing officially from a curricula company.
We’ve chosen “My Father’s World” (MFW) for our first home school experience. We used it this past year and already purchased the curriculum for next year. I can’t wait! For right now, I love it. It’s very complete, which is nice because I don’t feel obligated to order from a bunch of other companies to supplement. This page will be dedicated to insightful lessons, home school ideas, things that worked and didn’t work, and curriculum reviews. This year we did the kindergarten curriculum of MFW with Abby, even though she was only technically preschool age. (If you know Abby, you understand why.)
